Forgiveness Sets you Free
For us to be able to heal and restore our lives, we first need to learn how to detox from people in our past who are still living inside of us because we haven’t learned the importance of the act of forgiveness. Unforgiveness becomes a cancer to your soul. We can love better once we learn how to forgive. Forgiving ourselves is sometimes another big obstacle women and men find that get in the way of them living an abundant life and becoming true disciples of Christ. With this talk, Elza guides her audience on important steps to take if you truly desire to live in the freedom that Christ already bought for us.

The Lost Sheep
Our circumstances and places of woundedness may look different, yet most men and women have experienced seasons where they can relate to the Lost Sheep Parable from Luke 15. This talk draws heavily from the lost sheep parable and from Elza’s personal experience of being away from Christ for almost two decades and how God in his goodness left the ninety-nine to go find her. Elza will remind you that it is only when we encounter Jesus in a personal way that our lives will change. When we encounter Jesus he transforms the way we pray, the way we serve, and most importantly, the way we love.

A Hope that Never Dissapoints
Hope provides strength and perseverance, especially during difficult times, reminding us that God is with us and that he will never abandon us. This means whatever comes our way: suffering, turmoil, tragedy, death, and heartbreak. God can and has conquered it all. This talk draws from Romans chapter 5:5 that says: “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” This kind of hope the apostle Paul is talking about is not the kind of hope that the world offers, but the kind of hope that only God can give us. This type of hope is like oxygen. And we just can’t live without it.

The Transformational Power of Suffering
We all have a story and our stories matter. Our personal stories have an immense power to inspire and give others hope. To a greater or lesser degree, everyone suffers in this life. What we do with the lessons we learn from difficult seasons and struggles we’ve lived through is what makes all the difference. Drawing from her own experience of all the suffering she went through after being sexually abused as a child, Elza will show you how to not be afraid of suffering. It is precisely from our broken pieces that God creates beautiful masterpieces. As St. Paul wrote in Romans 8:28- “All things work together for good for those who love God.”

Reclaiming Our True Identity
God wants to declutter our hearts from things that are taking up space and keeping us from experiencing his love for us. For that to happen we first need to reclaim our Christ-given identity. Society wants us to believe that our identity lies in our looks, our possessions, what we do for a living, and even in other people’s opinions of us. We must remember that our true identity comes from being a child of God. A God who made us out of love and for love. With this talk Elza offers great tools that you can use in your everyday life that will help you reclaim your true identity.

Learning to Speak God's Truth Over the Enemy's Lies
We all have places of our hearts that we feel are beyond redemption. Parts of us that maybe have yet to encounter Christ’s love and mercy. With this talk, Elza draws from her own experience of living decades believing the lies that were attached to her through her childhood wound. This talk is an invitation for you to take a deep dive into your heart so that you can identify those particular areas in your life that you wrestle with lies that are keeping you from thriving in all areas of your life. When these lies and fears are left unchecked they can affect your relationships with family and friends, the way you react to people, your lack of trust, and more.

Untangling our Hearts from the Knots of Unhealed Wounds
The Lord is calling each of us to be the rich soil he talks about in Luke chapter 8. We are called to be the ones who hear his word, embrace it with a generous heart and say yes to whatever he is calling us to do in the particular season of life we are in. But how do we become this rich soil if we are still struggling with unhealed wounds? What if we learn how to have the courage to invite the Good Shepherd into those crevices of our hearts that are hurting and allow him to transform us from the inside out?
